CCAS Summer Tours in France

CCAS act in favor of the development of the human beeings, the well-being of each person and the quality of life, while respecting in solidarity and dignity their legal rights. In France more than 1% of the population is working in the electricity and gas sector - aprox. 657.000 people – workers and their families. They are the beneficiaries of social and cultural activities of CCAS, which includes the vacation opportunities for all generations and summer camps for young people. During the vacation period CCAS offers acess to artistic and cultural discovery programs. In its centers and in sites of its social tourism partners these programs present a widest diversity of expression - included smal format acoustic concerts giving an inside view into music from various cultures performed by master musicians.  

Since many years alba KULTUR is supporting CCAS for it's mission and for the selection and organisation of the music program.

The duo from Lviv in Ukraine sings songs and ballads from the regions of Polissya, Bukovina, Poltava, Podillya and Central Ukraine. Also, anti-war songs and new military songs will be presented, which will deepen the current situation in Ukraine. “Songs of Ukrainian Forest” is a chamber concert symbolizing life, love and grace!

Niyireth Alarcon was born in the region of Huila in Colombia. Her career last more than 25 years. She is an international awarded musician, released 12 albums on Andean and Latin American music and is known beyond the borders of South America for her research on the Andean music of Colombia and her innovative interpretations of this particular repertoire of traditional music.

Lornoar is a singer, songwriter and dancer from Cameroon. She began performing at a young age and quickly became an insider tip with her concerts in the city's hip clubs. She writes strong and beautiful lyrics, inspired both by God and everyday life: the need for comfort, love, abandonment, jealousy, the divine power, but also about women's fight against violence, the fight against intolerance and the abuse of children in war times. Her music consists of different rhythms from Bikutsi to Bossa Nova, Makossa, Batanga, Ekank, Ekomot, Mbalax and more. Today she is recogized as the Voice of Eton people.

The Kurdish trio of the young generation is dedicated to the musical treasure of an ancient multicultural cultural landscape in Anatolia. Ali Doğan Gönültaş spent ten years with field research on music in the Bingöl region. They present the repertoire of this collection of songs with govend (rhythmic Kurdish folk dance), lamentations, work songs, xerîbîyê and prayer forms of the region.

Alpcologne amazes with harmonious combinations of other instruments such as the recorder or sousaphone.
